FRANKY DOYLE

Franky Doyle
Played by Nicole da Silva.
On parole: working as a paralegal in training for Legal Aid.
Had served 4 years of a 7 year sentence for intentionally causing serious injury, Franky has been living on the outside after serving four years in Wentworth and then paroled. Despite her smooth veneer, there is a fragile edge to Franky that comes from the adversities she has experienced. However her life has settled into a peaceful pace since moving in with Wentworth’s psychiatrist Bridget Westfall and working for Legal Aid. Life on the inside, and the relentless struggle to maintain the top dog position, seems a distant memory and one she doesn’t want to revive.
In earlier seasons, Franky was exposed as Governor Meg Jackson’s killer. She made amends with Will Jackson and formed an unlikely alliance with her nemesis Bea Smith when they decided to bring down the then governor Joan Ferguson.
Season 4 saw Franky inadvertently entangled with Ferguson via Shayne Butler (Hunter Page-Lochard), a Legal Aid client. She prevented Shayne from following through Ferguson’s deadly instructions and, while morally commendable, this could have consequences.
