Wentworth’s psych appointed by a board that has become concerned at the increase in self-harm and violence amongst the prisoner population under Ferguson’s reign. This has already put Bridget offside with the then Governor, which is not a good place to start. She may have dealt with some scary places and individuals, but she hadn’t dealt with anything like Ferguson.
Bridget has been openly gay since late high school and is at home with herself. There was an instant attraction between Bridget and Franky in Season 3, and when Franky is paroled, Bridget is waiting for her on the outside. They set up home together in Season 4 and at times, it seems the honeymoon may be over.
